Lakes. They are quite beautiful, aren't they? The way the calm waters move around and give the atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Just listening to the waters is so satisfying. You take a step in. It is cold, but you get used to it. You submerge. It is... Warm... Just being inside is calming. Every second feels like forever. But you go deeper. It's never enough. You go lower and lower. Everything darkens. So warm waters become colder with each meter down. You seem to forget something, but you keep going down. The lower you go, the higher the sense of unease. Each step you go deeper, you think and think, "Did I forget something?". You look down. Beautiful corals, glowing, calling you in. You feel warmth again. You get closer in, and it hits you. Oxygen. You begin to suffocate. You quickly swim up, trying to get out, but to no avail. You finally let it go. Next minute, you wake up on the same beach. The same warmth calls you in, and you go in waters again, you reach the same point. You see the corals, but they no longer glow for you. You missed their glow. You swim up, and forget about it like it's a nightmare. You never touch waters ever again.
Take this little writing of mine as you will. The point is up for interpretation.
