Why version 0.0.0.10? Because each digit represents a state, being “Major”, “Minor”, “Release”, and “Build”. We’re still in build states, so that’s why I’m further breaking math conventions.
Anyway, we’ve got all the playable characters in finally, plus a little extra. I’ve been able to add in the first of the Sentry enemies, which are a unique blend of enemies and security system mechanics. The one included in this update is the “Alarm Sentry”, so it should be obvious enough what it’ll try and do to you. Beyond that, I’ve tweaked numerous minor things and also finished off the destruction effects for certain level elements. But then again, what am I saying, let’s list this out in a more technical fashion.
New Features:
Fourth spy added. He can lay Remote Explosives down which, when triggered, will detonate. He also has Giant Biceps, allowing him to knock out enemies for twice as long. He is even slower and jumps even lower than Spies #2 and #3.
Enemy motion patterns adjustment made in the last update removed. Enemies chase like they’ve done before.
Destructable level elements now fully animated and detailed.
Alarm Sentry added. Acts similar to a dog, but cannot enter vents. Will sound an alarm if it spots the player. Can spot the player as well as a security camera. If it takes any damage, it will explode a couple seconds afterwards. Cannot jump. Can be hacked. When hacked, it will ignore the player, but the player can still destroy it.
Other minor tweaks may be noticeable.
Enjoy. Be sure to comment and give any and all feedback from testing and, if you haven’t already, follow the game so you can be informed of future updates.
