Hello to all fellow players!
After a long wait, update 0.5.0 is here, packed with a lot of new features.
Gameplay changes
Jump height control
It’s now possible to control how much power will be put into a jump.
Jump power increases as you hold space bar. While you hold the space bar, camera moves down as if you actually squatted. You can determine how high the jump will be by that.
Simply put: If you - only - press space bar, you will get a small bunny hop, whereas if you hold the space bar for cca. 1 second, you will get a much higher jump.

Horizontal rotation in mid-air
Doing backflips, frontflips and even flairs is now possible.
To lean forward, hold UP arrow key, to lean backwards hold DOWN arrow key.
Nothing changed with rotating in mid-air on vertical axis (eg. 180°). Just hold RIGHT or LEFT arrow key.

Player account
From now on every player will have their own account
When you open the game, you will be greeted by this window:

NOTE: Our account system is not linked with gamejolt’s, so don’t try to log in with your gamejolt’s username and password - it will give you an error. Create a new account instead.
Score system
We’ve added 2 minute time limit for each ride in a skatepark. The goal is to earn as many points as possible during this time limit.
You earn points by doing tricks and lose them by crashing.
After the time limit runs out, highscore table will appear displaying:
Player’s score
Amount of in-game currency earned
10 best scores for the individual skatepark
Unlock system
After you finish your 2 minutes-long ride, your score will be converted into coins.
You can buy new scooters with them.

Another cosmetical changes
Frames in Trick Menu are now thinner - the older ones were too bulky
Fixed some text formatting issues eg. names of tricks in Trick Menu have the same font size.

We have another new features planned out, so stay tuned.
Adding scooters and levels is on our plate too.
We have been especially curious about multiplayer, however it seems pretty complex and is difficult to implement.
We hope that high scores will bring some competitivity and compensate multiplayer a little (at least for the time being).
Please, let us know what you think about this update.
You can of course always leave us suggestions on improving FSG.
Don’t forget to inform us about bugs too, so we can fix them in the next update.
Thank you for your support and patience!
~Matthew
