Version 1.1.0 released!


Version 1.1.0 has been released.

NOTE: Old save files are very likely to fail!

List of major changes:

  • Added Hard Mode
    Challenge yourself with this new harder difficulty mode. Includes harder bosses, new bosses, and a new, non-canonical ending to discover.

  • Added Picnic Mode
    Play a shorter game with this new difficulty mode. Almost all enemies have their MaxLP cut in half, reducing the length of battles.

  • Added Status Guide
    A book full of information about Status Effects that I felt didn't quite get explained properly enough. It can be found in the bag dropped by the intro boss.

List of minor changes:

  • Catastrophe now starts off weaker, but gets stronger and stronger with each passing turn, maxing out on turn 50. It is also now generally more powerful.

  • Sharpen now halves the impacts of enemy DEF when using Slash attacks. It also now lasts for 4 turns instead of 3!

  • Lights Out can no longer crit. Blank is just too damn powerful for his own good.

  • Window Cleaner now deals weapon damage instead of Crash. This both gives Blank an early Smash skill, AND makes Blank able to remove both Screens AND Walls. Previously, Screens could reflect Window Cleaner due to it being exclusively Crash.

  • Stun Song was buffed to deal Very High damage, instead of High damage.

  • Chimp Chomp and Spread Song were given a mild damage buff.

  • Guarding now doubles your LUK, making you much less likely to be hit with a bad status effect.

  • Ape Venom cost changed from 38 SP to 22 SP and 10 TP.

  • Playful Pounce damage reduced. It can also no longer crit.

  • BBQ Sauce buffed. It now completely removes SP costs instead of halving them.

  • Ranch now directly grants 10 TP upon use, though only if Ranch hasn't already been used on the target that turn.

  • Rare Bag item replaced with Helpful Bag item. Helpful Bags are dropped from random encounters, and contain progression-appropriate items.

  • Enemy variants no longer have unique decreased yields. IE, Wrathburgers now drop normal Token amounts, and Veggieburgers now drop normal EXP amounts. Overall EXP and Token drops increased, as well.

  • Added a new equipment type. The Wrath Flag! It increases your attack by a percentage, but at the cost of losing control of that party member! It's great for grinding, and can be found as early as the first shop! Just maybe don't bring it into boss fights. Attack boosted or not, having a party member spam basic attacks without control won't get you far!

  • Most bonus bosses got a general stat buff.

  • Added new secrets. Mostly random easter eggs, though one... one is a Hard Mode exclusive that you might find... interesting.

List of Bug Fixes:

  • The final Generator now proper deals Crash damage instead of Thrash damage when using a normal attack.

  • Sharpen no longer uses the Autolife icon in its going away message.

  • Chester being in the party can no longer telepathically beam Cindy's image into your mind when looking at her poster.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented hell from being let loose upon getting the true ending.

  • Shadow Candy can no longer unexpectedly go first when using his Cats Down skill.

List of Known Bugs:

  • Hard Mode introduces an additional bonus boss. The game, however, still only states that there are 4 new bosses unlocked after beating the game. The new boss does not count towards the true ending, though this part is intentional.
