A new ship, the Doubler. It’s a little harder to play at the beginning of the game
The asteroid goes BOOM POW PSCH once it has taken enough damage and starts dying.
The timer running out as the asteroid is dying no longer constitutes a loss, but you don’t get any time bonus.
The background moves now.
Both powerups now spawn at once and you may choose which one to take, until level 10, where only the x2 powerup appears.
Powerups are easier to take.
