Five Nights at Leon's: Remastered has just recieved a major update, if you want full details of what this revamp is, check out this post.
I started this revamp in early 2021. It's surprising how time flies. However, I didn't finish back then, and I left it in the dark for over 3 years! Then a few days ago, I decided canceling this revamp was pointless, so I challenge myself and I finish it in a week.
This revamp is the experience we wanted back then; now that the game's truly completed, everything we wanted is now done. With this revamp, we start a new FNaL era, and soon we'll reveal lots of projects that we have been working on. Just to clarify, I'm not an official Fnal developer anymore. The projects I'm working on are canon, however, are not exactly "Official", if that makes sense... So, no, I do not know how's the development of Fnal2R... however, I can sadly tell from what I heard from omar, this game is suffering from the known "Develoment hell", however omar will not give up on this game.
What is coming from me, is more like a transition. I created so many really cool twisted concepts for this saga, such as S. Dog and G.Leon, it was fun to explore these concepts; however, since I'm no longer working on this saga, it's up to the team to determine the direction of these characters and the concepts. However, I felt that in order to really leave Leon's behind, I needed to put an end to my concepts. This doesn't mean I'm getting rid of it; I'm just handling it for Omar and the team, but I needed to do it in a organic way and I think I found out how...
This game is not the same experience with a new layout, no... I took my time to create a completely new experience. For example, the office segments (Including Night 6) were made from scratch, so you can expect a better experience while playing these segments (Especially Night 6, since the mechanics have been remade). All endings have been modified; the lore has not been affected. However, maybe some endings can now give you a new perspective on the lore and upcoming content...
I think that's it for today. If there is anything to fix, be free to let me know! I hope you enjoy this new version of the game as much as I have making it!
See you soon.
