VERY important question

Took a bit, but I return with a question that'll hopefully sort out the biggest hurdle the game has had up to now. (Well, aside from me trying to juggle multiple projects and not doing that well at it and needing to get caught up with making new assets.)

So the game is still in very early development, and I'm a bit torn on how best to handle the idea I had in mind for the main combat. I'm sure the two options here would be the best picks for it, but which route to go: the one I know, or the one I don't know that well (yet)?

---

Option 1: Frantic RPG, but even more frantic than what has been established in my previous work

Option 2: Beat em' up/hack and slash/run and gun hybrid

Next up

New project is having a fun, early outing.

It's been a long time coming...

Mini Progress Update: Currently mixing (almost) every element from previous builds and concepts into something that plays to their strengths.

Level itself is about 2/3 complete. I'll prioritize combat after that.

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)

That time of year again.

Yeah, we're doing this.

"With all due respect, you can't do this alone."

Before we do any new reveals, we should properly introduce our current set. Meet Oscar and Kyrak.

Me: Man, I really wanted to have something released for the 10th anniversary, but I have nothing ready for it!

Clickteam: *drops trailer for Five Laps at Freddy's*

Me: *Finally remember that I still have a janky ace up my sleeve*

New look, new direction.
