Vinland Saga will forever be my favourite Anime. Not only is it a masterpiece in its own right but it also impacted me on a personal level. It's main theme to me is something everyone should learn.


If you haven't watched it I'd seriously recommend it. Especially for people who haven't watched anime before it might be a great start depending on your taste in media.

Thorfinn's character arc is done amazingly in season 2 and the parallels between multiple antagonists is both impressive and done spectacularly. (also I love most of the intros their fucking awesome especially Mukyanjo)

I can relate to Thorfinn's character arc (not literally of course.) wanting revenge and hurting those who harmed you. However like Throfinn I realized that my actions not just in pursuit of revenge and anger but also in general, harmed those I knew. I strive to be a better person not just for myself but those around me.

Remember you have no enemies, no one in this world truly does. However when the time comes always use a weapon not to kill, but to defend yourself.

Highlander (1986)

Highlander is a really good movie! I watched it a few days ago and I really like the concept, along with the story of Connor MacLeod, the first highlander.

I remember when I first heard this song play in 'The Mist' and when paired with the film's nihlistic and dark ending I felt emotions I couldn't describe. It's a great song, check it out and watch the movie whenever you can.

Lev is a trans man who appeared in The Last of Us Part 2 as one of Abby's allies. GLAAD described Lev as one of the "highlights of quality representation in recent years."

Lev was voiced by trans non-binary actor Ian Alexander.
