Hello again, blokes and blokettes!
Virus Bloke 2 version 1.3 has finally arrived, after well over 200 hours of work!
A lot of the changes in this version are in the text, with a completely new text mode (Manked Mode, inspired by another game of ours, Mank Virus Knight 2, where everything is very random and silly), and many changes, clarifications, and continuity fixes to the story, making for an overall better flow.
There are many more small things here and there, so if you want to know all the details, read below for the complete patch notes.
Otherwise, I hope you enjoy this (hopefully finally) update for Virus Bloke 2: The Fall of Microsoft!

ADDED MANKED TEXT MODE!
This makes almost all of the text messed up somewhat, so that the game is even more random!
(This is inspired by Mank Virus Knight 2, another game of ours, which was made to be very nonsensical.)
It is NOT recommended to use Manked Mode if you want to understand the story or anything!ADDED DEV NOTES OPTION!
Turning this on will reveal indicators to various areas throughout the game, which, when you interact
with them, will give you some (hopefully interesting) behind the scenes information!Updated main menu to add the new Text Mode and Dev Notes options!
Removed Information option from the main menu. It wasn’t that important, and space was needed.
Made fixes/changes/additions to some text/dialogue.
Rebalanced some stats/skills/items.
Added more info to the ~Statistics~ item, and After-Game Land, including the super special “JLP Code”!
Added options to ~Statistics~ (Difficulty, Age Rating, etc.), so you can now change mid-game!
Reduced amount of times required to talk to the ~Cheater~ tree from 11 to 1. No need to hide it THAT much!
Added a new cheat code, Name Changer.
Added some new messages to the ~Cheater~.
Made it possible to explore the whole street from the start of the game.
Added new items to various areas! Incentive to examine things.
Allowed access to behind Square-Enix from the start, but the Smellytubbies only appear later.
Modified Japanese Chap’s graphics, to be less of a potentially racist stereotype.
Fixed Clone Chamber visits counting towards Cliff visits after the first time.
Made it possible to explore the whole Village of Food after the food crisis, instead of way later.
Made it quicker to sell your seeds to Peter (all in a row, instead of asking each time).
Removed ability to buy trading cards, and made them un-usable. It was all very pointless.
Removed videos: Electric Shock, Kill PC, and Shotgun. Why were they even there??
Fixed Shortcake Master’s sprites. Her hair had holes in it!
Gave Poofy Shadow boss a new skill.
Expanded Dark Microsoft’s 2nd Floor slightly, and made various other minor changes.
Made Japan’s crowd disappear later, replaced with new barriers, which you can pass by to avoid the Crocodile.
Increased Giant Crocodile’s speed later, so it doesn’t usually miss when you fight it properly.
Made it possible to Blind the Giant Crocodile. That’s the main strategy to win easier.
Added subtitles for 102.8 Degrees Celcius’ song.
Added people to the Laa-D-Daa University classrooms, so they’re just not locked, empty rooms.
Added subtitles for Location Taker (only while at Piece of Pie Software though).
Added new music to the PoPS music player, from some other games I’ve made!
OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR HAS ARRIVED! Find His greatness in Piece of Pie Software! Love Him!
Added a new letter in Paul’s House, advertising the opening of the Fatty Trader.
FINALLY fixed things being out of timing the first time you play X-Treme Hover Boarding.
Fixed stuff when you start X-Treme Hover Boarding from the Hover Board instead of the alleyway.
Changed X-Treme Hover Boarding points animations, and amounts gained, to make it less of a grind.
Added bonus points reward for every time you achieve Point Hoarder in X-Treme Hover Boarding.
Added more signs to Wob Land. Some “attractions” didn’t have one before!
Added “Would you like a Jelly Baby?” voice clip for The Doctor.
Modified Gamezville, and made it slightly smaller, so there’s slightly less nothingness.
Updated graphics of Paul’s VR faces.
Moved the hidden switch the unlocks the Mansion.
Fixed small area of incorrect graphics in the dinner eating chat scene.
Removed large, unnecessary area in the forboding, after-meal dream.
Removed Gudo’s first appearance, and his Fia World Rally video thing. It was extremely unnecessary.
Made the Cheese & Apple only available once from the Trader. (Reset on New Game+, of course)
Removed fences from the Trader’s back room. Why were they there? WHY?!
Fixed Grinny Master not joining battle in Easy difficulty!
Moved the Ration in Wooden Gear Liquid, so that it’s not QUITE as obvious and un-missable.
Slightly added to the base in Wooden Gear Liquid.
Increased experience for Snow Warrior battles, so a level is guaranteed. No more tedious grinding!
Changed Snowy Street music to a royalty free version of Jingle Bells.
Improved reward for beating LvX Snow, so it’s not just a waste of time for an update that will never come.
Added enemy “Mould” to Wob Land. It was all made, I guess I just forgot to actually add it before.
Fixed encounter rate outside Lighthouse after leaving the area with the Rock.
Made the Rock outside the Lighthouse also drop an item at the end of battle.
Added closed airlock to the Enterpies, so it doesn’t magically appear out of nowhere later.
Slightly changed layout of Crafting Store, because 2 tables were unused.
Changed Revolver Upgrade description in Crafting Store, to specify how much STR and SPD is sacrificed.
Made the Coconut more visible in the tree (especially in Easy mode).
Greatly increased drop chances for most of the crafting materials from enemies.
Updated sprites for the baby Grinnys in the Gamezville virtual world revisit.
Removed option to get directions to basement storage rooms, as it was now made redundant by the map.
Made the PoPS basement gates transparent when they’re open, to more clearly show that they’re open.
Removed Munkee encounters from the rooms that have no breach.
Increased requirements for Crafty One achievement, from 15 items crafted, to 25.
Made the <Char>’s Skills cheats give ALL player skills, not just ones exclusive to that character.
Moved the game settings cheat codes into After-Game Land, and moved locations of some others in-game.
Added an extra thing to the Unused Ideas section of After-Game Land.
Added missing enemy entries to the guide.
Removed Herobrain.
