Oh yeah- "who the hell are these guys??"
Well if you'll remember a while back I showed off an art of a Star Wars fanfic character from an Attack on Titan length fan-fic I came up with (or at least it feels like it lmao)
I'm planning to do an animatic project for the finale of this story (which just played out in my head last night and whooo boy! Did I ENJOY IT! Epic battle, multiple character and plot threads resolved back to back, and a very satisfying conclusion! (at least for me))
Anyways, this project will take like- probably months to fully complete. I'm gonna use it as an excuse to practice drawing humans and environments and improving on character design, which will help with other "more important things".
But whenever I make something new for it, I'll just post it here. That could be anything from a character design sketch, to a panel from the animatic, to maybe even a series of panels back to back.
The only thing I'll probably avoid is the few bits with dialogue, or the actual script for the events, so you wouldn't get to see how all the scenes link up together until it's finished.
Don't expect high-quality art for most of the animatic even when it is finished though, like I said, this'll be really big, and rendering isn't what I plan to practice here.
Anyways, yeah that's all of that.
I guess I could do a lot better with Emily's pose (orange eyes, holding the gun), but I wanted to get the character heights right, rather than the most dynamic or expressive pose. Well, besides Terrafist I guess, he's got a pretty dynamic pose going on that probably hurts the accuracy of his height but uh... ignore that
Also, here's the song I plan to use, which is absolutely amazing! https://youtu.be/4M1MpGW0ZUU?si=4liVJcK4VoWiyFG9
Yes, I'm gonna do the whole song, I told you this is gonna be a huge project that'll probably take months! XD
That being said, I'm gonna keep it on the download, never as a priority, except right now setting things up for what'll need to be done in the future.
I'll work on it on and off when I need a break from "more important" creative projects. Just to do something different. That way, rather than burning myself out trying to do too many things, it can be my escape to prevent burnout.
I think that's how it works? Idk, we'll see if I just screw myself up royally XD
But I think it's a good idea. I like making stuff, and going too long without making anything just starts to feel weird and empty. Tbh, I've been pretty aimless most of this month, not really having anything to lock onto, which is especially weird right after my entire life was the GUIDANCE demo during September. So uh- yeah.
Have a nice day/night/apocalypse, follow your heart, bye bye now ^.^
