GameJolt responded to our initial accusations. We debated not replying at all to avoid turning this into a pointless pissing contest, but after the countless tone-deaf actions GameJolt has taken against creators today, we feel it's important to say something.
@gamejolt Can you answer these questions? Clearing everything up would be great, but right now your explanation doesn't hold up.
We can't give a platform to those who are quick to spread misinformation or make us the villain for their own personal gain.
First, what makes you think creators who've been actively hosting games on your website for nearly a decade would suddenly spread misinformation about you for their own gain? Including creators who are literally profiting from YOU in the first place—you literally pay us.
We understand how upsetting technical glitches can feel, especially when trust is at stake, but this wasn't an intentional change or a hidden agenda—it was a genuine error.
Our games weren't removed from Best or Featured when boosts were initially added. It happened at least a day later, specifically after we made our posts calling attention to the situation. That doesn't sound like a "technical error."
What about @hunterallen_ being targeted the very moment he spoke up about anything related to boosts, including his game being abruptly removed from Featured shortly afterward?
The Featured page has been handpicked for years. We know there's no algorithm responsible—it's always been you guys, manually selecting what's shown.
Rat Race had been near the top of GameJolt's Best page for nearly four years, well before the Creator program even existed. It wasn't some "creator boost" that got us there; all signs indicate it naturally rose because it was genuinely popular.
We literally have videos showing Rat Race being completely removed from Best in real-time, while every other game remained untouched. And later, when more games started getting affected, EVERY SINGLE REPORT came from someone who had openly criticized you—while creators who stayed silent were conveniently unaffected.

Even if, miraculously, there was no deliberate meddling, can you swallow your pride for a moment and admit this looks extremely suspicious? What other conclusion are we supposed to draw? Many of the people raising concerns have backgrounds in computer science and fully understand technical glitches occur—but this doesn't resemble a glitch in the slightest. Every piece of evidence points to intentional interference. Show us the code that caused these alleged issues. Show us why specifically the creators calling you out were the ones affected.
Until you can prove otherwise, we're not spreading misinformation. We're drawing the most logical conclusion from the facts and information we currently have. Everything you've done since your initial response has only reinforced this further.
We've always been clowns, but today you've shown everyone you're the entire fucking circus.
