So, unfortunately, there were some problems with development.
Reusing KK!FellSwap's engine led to a lot of bugs, many of which were caused by the fact that KK!FellSwap's tileset is 20 pixels by 20 pixels, while DELTARUNE's tileset is 18 pixels by 18 pixels. That, among many other bugs, have been making the engine almost impossible to work with in regards to DELTARUNE: Fate Reclaimed.
So, where do we go from here?
I'm starting over from scratch.
Making a whole new engine, remaking everything over again.
The biggest change, though, is that I'm trying to learn Gamemaker.
The old language I was using had its limitations. I could work around them when it came to KK!FellSwap, but for DELTARUNE, which has much more in-depth mechanics and visuals, it wouldn't be able to produce as good a result as it could if I used Gamemaker.
So, I'm trying to learn how to code in Gamemaker.
Who knows, maybe if I get good at it, I might remake KK!FellSwap in Gamemaker as well.
