I'm very, very ambitious with the writing for the game, which prompted me to take a few risky turns. There are so many things I wanted the game NOT to be, but only a vague idea how everything would work together. We've already adjusted the sprites and our music direction to fit Undertale's boundaries better, but there is one more challenge ahead.
There are a few twists to the fight and the character that will either make or break the game completely. On paper, my ideas are great, but I'm so nervous now that I've got to execute them. I always feared that the result will be another fangame where you take a second and go "Tell me this was made using TML engine/Clickteam/Godot without saying anything". But so far, everything is looking great for us.
If I finish prototyping the pacing and the twists successfully, then we are setting the page and a teaser. With me as the director, the game will see its light as it deserves.
I thank everybody who applied for the role of a spriter! This wouldn't be possible without you all!
