If you played the Underhero demo (and if you haven’t, get to that.)
you would know that your primary weapon is a sword. Quick and reliable, but it only strikes ground foes horizontally.

If you were to face a flying enemy it would be kind of a mess…

Thankfully, you count with another weapon for these cases:

The Slingshot!

As you may have noticed, Elizabeth IV is a magical hilt that can change into various weapons, you can use her powers to attack out of range foes! And it works a little different to the sword too.

To use the slingshot you have to hold down the button (as if you were to draw a slingshot band all the way back) and use your movement keys to take aim!

Align the yellow arrow with your enemy and release the slingshot button to shoot the pellet!

You can use the slingshot to hit out of range weaknesses in certain enemies, keep an eye out for those!

The slingshot pellets also bounce with floor and walls. If you’re fighting in a tight space, you can aim to trick shot your enemies from behind!

Upgraded Slingshot!

If you find or buy a slingshot upgrade, it will improve your weapon in certain ways.

A slingshot +1 will give it an improved aim for the attack, subsequent upgrades will drop the stamina cost by 1!
(You can upgrade your weapons up to +3)

Upgrades are optional!
If you want to improve your weapons you will have to search for them around the worlds or buy the first upgrades in the castle store.
