PART 1

I will post some News to my game every weekend until its full release! That way you get an insight of the game’s evolution and the characters that the full game will feature!

ANCIENT BATTLEFIELD REWORK

Yeah! Ancient Battlefield has been redesigned to look more tidy and to fit much better to the rest of the stages!
Nonetheless I tried to keep it as close to the original version as possible by keeping all elements of the stages as they were. They’re just looking better now! :)

And that’s not all what changed! Ancient Battlefield has a day and night system now! Just look how it looks on the different daytimes:

The sky gets warmly red in the evening and when the sun raises again!

And it’s getting terrifyingly dark in the night! I hope you’re not alone outside at this time…

I hope you like the new Ancient Battlefield, the showcase stage of the game!

CHANGES TO HIT ‘N’ HURT SYSTEM

Hitting your enemy sometimes felt a bit weird (It does in the current Demo).
Sometimes they got knocked back in the wrong direction and making combos was hard because the foes got pushed to far away to chain any move.

This is no longer the case! When hitting your foes with your attacks they will now always get pushed in the proper direction. Making combos does also have become easier via changes to the Push-Distance-System. The regular push-back of standard attacks now depends on the current percentage the hitten characer has. So landing many hits in a row is now easier at low percentage since your foe does not get pushed away too far! But the higher the percentage the harder it is to keep your opponent in one of your combos. However I think on high percentage you’ll try to knockback your foe with a strong attack anyways! ;)

Speaking of knockback, the knockback rate has been increased! That means that you get knocked back further on lower percentages! You should from now on fear walking around with 300% + .

IMPROVED AI

The last point for today is a bit about the CPU intelligence. They do now recover much better and use more diverse techniques. Furthermore computer-controlled fighters do now detect if you’re performing an attack that isn’t dangerous or at least not immediately dangerous for them. So they will no longer shield in front of you when you’re charging Ragna’s B for example.
