Weekly Update 7: Enemies

As you probably have seen from a few days ago, we’ve been working on enemies!

The Red Jungle will be home to a large variety of jungle creatures, but today all I have to show you is the red spider and the red wasp.

In this gif you can see the new invincibility frames after you get hit. The distance you travel and the length of invincibility are both still work in progress and could change.

Now let’s see what happens when we become the aggressor!

Well, not much yet. Most of last weeks work on my side was on player damage and hitboxes.

That’s all for this update. This is still only a taste of the enemies and environments to be expected in the jungle, and still only a taste of the full game. Hopefully we’ll be able to give you bigger taste on how the game actually plays soon…

Until next week!

Super Skelemania Available Now If you owned the early access, you should be able to download the full version immediately. Lemme know if you have any issues! Thanks for being awesome!!!!

I'm developing a new commercial game with a small team! A demo will be coming to steam soon, but you can wishlist it in the meantime if you're into deckbuilding / autobattlers / roguelikes!

Menu system of the future! #Nojong

Nojong, an arcade mashup of Tetris and Mahjong is out now!

For some reason, it's really hard to change the alpha value of a tile layer in GameMaker. You can do this easily for sprite or instance layers, but not tile layers. So here's a video on how to easily update the alpha value of tile layers in real time.

Wonder if anyone can guess what kinda game I'm working on right now with this GameJolt session data as the only clue. I bet someone can sleuth it out!

Reminder: Demo and Greenlight launches in 3 Days! What the title says! Also, check out the slick new title we have for the game. See you on the 30th!

I don't normally post here, but I'm announcing a new game! It's called 9 Till Void and it has a GameJolt devlog which you should follow!
