sonic mania actually has a lot of lore inconsistences other than the ones that i've been talking about

mainly location stuffs

e.g. the player goes to stardust speedway, but never progresses to metallic madness even though that's chronologically after stardust speedway (and before you ask, it's the character's fault that they stay and watch eggman do phantom ruby shenanigans)

another example; the characters go through hydrocity but then somehow go into mirage saloon which i guess you could say is because they travelled to west side island, which explains oil ocean, but it doesnt explain how the oil ocean sub goes from there to lava reef, which is on a completely different island

one more is little planet just being in front of angel island for some reason?? cus as far as im concerned, never lake is the only place little planet can appear at, and it's nowhere near angel island

and also they just appear at metallic madness i guess, its not indicated that they go through any other of the CD zones, even though stardust speedway is right before,,,,,

titanic monarch i'll excuse mostly but i'll still ask how eggman manages to build it so fast, assuming that little planet has only recently reappeared
