Welcome!

Hello everyone!

A warm welcome to the development page of Dawn of Civilization! My name is Tim and I am the lead developer of this game. I want to inform you guys that I am working on this game in my spare time and that I am doing it on my own (at the moment). Don’t expect huge updates or releases yet because adding stuff takes a long time. However I am still trying to release the first version/demo as soon as possible :)

What to expect from the game?

I am planning on adding the following systems:

  • Base/Town building (Implemented partially, being worked on)

  • Resource gathering (Implemented)

  • AI with certain command options, smart villagers (Being worked on)

  • Age progression system, go through the ages and advance your buildings
    (Not yet implemented)

  • Combat, fight animals and other tribes (Not yet implemented)

  • Enemy AI, dangerous animals and enemy warriors (Not yet implemented)

  • Computer opponents that manage their own tribe (Not yet implemented)

I will post updates and videos about changes along the way!

Cheers,
Tim.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

I thought I would do a quick show and tell, with a 2 min video of the start of the game and some of the game elements, after many many months it is really starting to come together, time to start networking https://gamejolt.com/games/Dungeon_fable/490669
