So after Sunday morning church service, while other churchgoers were busy socializing, I did what I do: stare at my phone. I opened up Twitter and saw that Gamejolt tweeted about discovering a “post-apocalyptic world during one time-looping day”. “Hmm,” I thought, “that sounds familiar”. About a half of a second later I finished reading the tweet and it hit me: that’s my game! Just a few minutes after that I saw my game on the front page for the first time and it took my breath away.
And from then on I’ve constantly been amazed by how much love you’ve all given to my game. I can’t tell you all how encouraging just a simple follow is, and to see more than 50 in this short time span is absolutely incredible. My work isn’t finished though, I’ve still got a ways to go. But with all of you at my back I’ll do my best to work hard and finish the game as soon as I can.
So thank you again for the follows, and the comments.
Thanks to the good folks at GameJolt for creating this awesome community and believing in my game enough to stick it right on their front page.
And thank God for the incredibly opportunity to do what I love: make videogames.
PS: Just a quick update, I’ve said that I’ll try to release a demo on the 5th of October, I’ll do my best to make that happen, but don’t be surprised if I have to push it back a week. I really want to put my best foot forward with this demo, so I want to be sure it’s a proper representative of what the final product will be.
