🔴Beau Woodsplint-

Beau doesn’t remeber that much about his mum since his dad left her when he was about 5, he does remeber they shouted at eachother a lot though. For a couple years they were living in a flat by themselves barely able to pay for anytning which made Beau feel really guilty for not being able to help (even though he was a little kid). When he was about 8 his dad remarried to Beau’s now step-dad giving him a step-brother (thats Paxxon!!)

Beau and Paxxon don’t get along too well, they don’t tend to fight theyre just both relatively introverted so struggle to hold coversations with eachother. When Beau was around 13 his step-dad was admitted to hospital after being diagnosed with cancer which was already in its late stages and too late to fix. Whilst this was going on his dad kinda began spiralling into a depression partially due to the fear of loosing his husband and partially due to the fear of not being able to support two kids by himself. Later that year he comotted suicide by overdose leaving Beau and Paxxon at home by themself, and them hiding from any vistors to their home in case of being sent to other family memebers who were dissapointed in both Beaus step-dad and dad.

sooo the reason Beau and Paxxon decided to join the zombie defense was both to run away from the problem of paying for a house as teenagers, since they get a small payment from the job, as well as from the police and stuff since Poanton (where the zombie apocalypse is begging) is about three hours from where they live

🔴Bianica Mudburro-

Bianica’s childhood was pretty nice from what she remebers, she had a nice dad, okay mum, and a big sister who was basically her best friend. Her big sister (Brooke) is about three years older than her and has always seen Bianica as her child. She was the one who helped her discover herself through the games of princess she was ‘forced’ into and supported her pre-transition, giving her most of her clothes she grew out of. Everything starts to go downhill after she left for university though (shes studying to be a historian!!)

Shortly after Brooke left, her dad had to move for work to another country for about six months, which the rest of the family couldn’t afford to do with him. This left just Bianica with her mum. She was never really close to her mum but decided she should try to be, which didn’t end up working too well. Her mother became overly stressed and quit her job, and would just lie around downstairs doing nothing.

One day Bianica came down to watch tv with her, and an advertisement for the zombie defense crew ran which inspired her mum. Her mum began pressuring her to join the force to ‘prove her manliness’, eventually getting to the point where she was threatened to be kicked out of the house if she didn’t join, so she did

🔴Tyson Turltoise-

Tyson is actually the only one here with a good childhood :)

His mum is a turtle and his dad is a tortoise leaving him as a turtle tortoise (??), he also has a little brother (Tyler) whos about 7 years younger than him and he’s pretty much always caring for. The only bad thing to happen to him really is his dad hyper masculinity, which didn’t mesh too well with Tyson’s softer personality. His dad is very much a MANLY MAN, so would make the occasional comment that would just dig under Tysons shell.

The reason he joined the zombie defense crew was due to this. His dad is an ex soldier and was telling him about how good of an experience it would be to toughen his shell and make him a man. Tyson’s very much a people pleaser so it didn’t take that much more convincing.

(also fun fact, him and Bianica are school friends! Also also when Bianica was pre-transition and identified as a gay man they dated for like a week)

🔴Alloe Watrturf-

Allie’s always had a BUSY family, living with both her grandparents, a few cousins and a few siblings which always made her feel left out since she is roughly the middle sibling. Having so many family memebers often meant she would barely get any attention, as there were always more important things going on such as older siblings going to college/uni and younger siblings needing attention. As a result she started to isolate herself, not wanting to get in the way of the others who were clearly more important than her. She did this at school too, only having one friend ever and spending most of her time watching coral and drawing her comics

(also important note, since shes a fish she lives underwater so she never met the others before this)

Eventually she got sick of it. Sick of nobody caring for her birthday. Sick of no one helping her when she needed it most. Sick of having no one there for her. So she began trying to find ways to act out to make herself stand out instead. She kept telling her family about how she would go fight in a war to protect them just in the hopes it would make them proud. They felt her bluff so they signed up for her lol
