Well, the result is disappointing, but Game Jams are Game Jams. The three platformers move on, the sci-fi space shooter does not.
(To be fair, I had no plot visible in-game and there were only two guns.)
Guess I'll expand this title on Steam.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
