I’m canceling Sonic 2 1991 Lost Prototype RETOLD: Battle of the World because, one, I lost motivation, and two, the developer behind the original game was exposed for a lot of things that cannot be forgiven.

What does this mean for the game as a whole, since it is cancelled? There was no demo fully finished, the story needed to be COMPLETELY rewritten, for some random reason, which is why I never finished the two versions in the first place, and another thing that I would like to add is that I do not want to be associated with a developer who has done acts that are COMPLETELY unforgivable. I did make a fanmade poster of his game (before he left the Internet), however, THAT will stay!

To everyone who was following the project, I don’t know what to say right now. If I do decide to uncancel this game, which I doubt will never happen, then it would no longer be associated with the original developer. This is a disappointment to me, and everyone else, that the original developer did these acts in the first place.

And for what the original developer did, he sent a lot of messages that were pretty disturbing to someone. I’m hoping that the victim is alright and recovering from the situation entirely. However, this game is cancelled until I say otherwise. Thank you for following this project up until now.
