Went to the National Videogame Museum today for my birthday. I unfortunately did not get any other pictures but I will detail some of the things I saw.

At the very entrance, there was a huge Pong display with very large controllers you could actually play on.

Later on, they had Typing of the Dead you could play, (I did poorly, the keyboard was very bulky). And a little farther down were some old handhelds, mostly lcd display ones, two of them were pacman, and there was even a gameboy with Tetris.

There were a few old computers you could mess around with (commodore 64, Apple II, TI-99, just to name a few), which was pretty cool.

There was a little area with some VR things, one of which was a Virtual Boy, so I tried the Wario Land game on the console, but I did not get far because the d-pad was broken :(. I know video and pictures don't do the stereoscopic 3D of the system justice so a good recent example would probably be the 3D Kirby's Adventure on 3DS.

There was a side room with Smash Ultimate and some Gamecube controllers hooked up. Unfortunately two of the controllers didn't work, and when I did have a working controller, the other player (who was pretty good ngl) swept the floor with me.

A few other things of note, there were really cool recreations of a boy's bedroom in the 80's and a family living room, with Duck Hunt and an Atari respectively. Ngl, I'm pretty good at duck hunt apparently. Got to play Goldeneye too, and let me just say, give that game a real controller and it would be pretty fun to play.

Lastly, they had an arcade before the exit with a lot of retro games, even Punch Out. So of course I tried Punch Out having played the Wii game and got my ass handed to me by Glass Joe.

All in all, fun experience, and if any of yall happen by Frisco, check it out. It's well worth a trip
