I’ve not visited this site since long time ago, but I think I’m back. I’ve had several ideas so I want to turn them into games. Two or three weeks ago I was on my introduction to programming class and I was really bored so I thought about making a little game, the game which currently is one of the biggest projects I’ve made. I made the first prototype using Python, but I added so many things that Python can’t manage them all correctly. I added things such as construction system, shadows, day/night… so I’m trying to remake that prototype with Java but I’m getting an strange error and I don’t know how to solve it.
Anyway, I’m getting bored again and I want to make another game, so I’ve thought about make another game using Python, not a prototype, a real game. I found out the limit of Python so I know how many things I can add and it will work perfectly. For the game, I’ve thought about making a platformer game but using hand drawn graphics instead of computer drawn graphics… I don’t know how it will look, but I think will look really well. I’ll try to draw the graphics on a piece of paper and I’ll take pictures of them. When they’re ended I’ll use it for the game. I don’t know how long it will take me but I think no more than a week.
