What Game Do You Wish You Could Play Again For The First Time? #GJAsks

Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.

Both of these games were really fun, enjoyed the combat, and playing as Batman.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Back then, I didn't have a PS3, but I watched a playthrough (with no commentary) on YouTube. Years later, I finally got to play Arkham Asylum on the PS4 HD remaster ports of Asylum and City. I wish I could have experienced the story and gameplay fresh for the first time because I spoiled myself back then because I wasn't sure if I would eventually get a PS3 or not. I still enjoyed the story none the less. But to experience the story firsthand without spoilers would have been great.

Batman: Arkham City

In the past, I did the exact same thing as I did with Asylum and watched a playthrough of the game online. I didn't have a PS3 at that time and when I did eventually play it, it was on the Wii U Armored Edition. Then later on, I played the HD remaster of Arkham City. Again, I enjoyed the story and gameplay, but I wished I would have gone in blind and enjoyed it more.

Funny thing about the Wii U version of the game. When I played through the DLC, I didn't get the chance to collect all of the joker balloons. So, I tried to go back collect the rest of the missing balloons. But during one of the Robin sections of the game, it wouldn't let me progress through the door and it would randomly kick me out of the game! I tried several times and still nothing. It was never fixed. But now that I have a better version, I should have no issue.

Toontober Day 22 - Batman (2020)

90's cartoons! Batman the animated series was my jam and my favorite show. I really like drawing Batman in his silhouette form that adds so much mystery and showing how Batman can be intimidating.
