I already explained most of the Starfire mumbo jumbo over at it’s respective news/blog/I’m not really sure what. But that’s not really all I’m doing. Oh no, I’m always up to things, dastardly things. But first, a little background.
I’ve always been fascinated with automated systems, and artificial intelligence that can basically run itself. One of my favorite projects, to this day, is an AI battling program that I wrote over the course of a month. It can run on it’s own indefinitely and basically function as a kinda shitty screensaver. I like that stuff, and I want to make more of it, but better.
So, what do I do? I’ve gotten pretty comfy with Unity, and you know what? I want to try out that AI stuff again, but with something a bit different. I’m not sure what it’ll end up being entirely, but it is entirely procedural, and will have very small amounts of player input.
“Why the fuck do I want that?” I hear you ask. Well, maybe you don’t. Maybe you want to blow stuff up Bebop style, in which case Starfire might be a better shot. What I want to make next though is for people like me, who enjoy people watching and seeing things tick. It’s fascinating, really.
Other than that? I’m working on devouring every piece of candy that comes near me, I’m almost done watching Legend of Korra, which is a rediculously frustrating show, and I’m still kind of missing Cowboy Bebop and Sword Art Online Season 1, but what do I know.
