Hi everyone. Surely by now you're still trying to put together what this could be, or you've already figured it out and want answers on why this exists.

Some of you may see it as a poor excuse to do a bullshit version of Revenge: The Unseen Ending, but no. There's more to this than meets the eye.

If you see a spoiler mark, I recommend not hovering over it unless you've watched the entirety of the Dragon Ball franchise or tend to forget things like spoilers.

Part 1: The Spark.

Around a few months ago, I had started getting into the Dragon Ball franchise. As you know fairly enough, I've grown fairly attached to Puar.

"Why?" Just look at him.

There is no reason to not like his silly little emoticon face.

Anyways, I started from Dragon Ball instead of Dragon Ball Z, so I got to see alot of him, and I got to see how he was useful to the team and how precisely he can use his transformation powers to help further.

He even used the transformation powers for silly banter like when he pretended to be a really tough guy to scare Oolong, also pretending to be a really tough guy to save Roshi and the others spots in the Tenkaichi crowd.

But, then came along Dragon Ball Z.

I watched Puar go from useful to a prop in a fucking INSTANT. Goku and the others started fighting literal GODS leaving no screentime for any of the background characters like Puar and whatnot.

This is what made the first spark to this game.

Part 2: The Chain Reaction.

I began publicly displaying how much Puar means to me and here are some of the things I got in response. Keep in mind these come from people who know Dragon Ball as a franchise.

More people start at Dragon Ball Z than Dragon Ball so no one knows Puar can transform...

until Dragon Ball Super came around and he did his first transformation in decades... into a woman in a seductive outfit. To help Roshi overcome his perversion.

My brother in christ he doesn't wanna do this. He is being chased down by a senile pervert.

Fuckin' hell.

Part 3: The "Big Bang."

On November 20th I brought this game to life for one sole purpose: make Puar more well-known.

Every aspect of this game was picked carefully and precisely. The AU it's based on, the character placements, it's all what it is because that's what'll make it memorable.

LIMELIGHT succeeded in bridging the gap between Undertale and Object Show communities, so I'm feeling like taking one more victory for the road. (If possible.)

This game was made to spread how Puar is a character in DBZ and should be paid attention to decently, this game will point out how Puar still is useful. Not everyone needs to focus on the people with power levels of the Sun.

Part 4: "Why make a game? A video or even a post would suffice."

In my entire history of trying to point things like this out with other characters I've gotten zero attention for that.

Making something playable with a fun experience would make this memorable. It'll actually work compared to making a video or a post just saying "oh puar's really cool still."

Afterall with the right advertising, LIMELIGHT was a success, so when in Rome...

Anyway that's about all, and I hope that clears up any remaining concern for this AU.
