I've seen it everywhere; Pinterest, Twitter, Gamejolt...
I think it's unoriginal but if it gets you a bit of popularity on your small account I can understand it.
I still recommend creativity over feeding the algorithm, maybe you wont get as much followers, but they'll be more loyal to your post and what you do with your account.
