What news is coming out of the Pastel team? Well we've got our first weekly round up to tell you just that!

Though we're still working on the game (everything from trailers to game development) progress lately has been quite good and we'd like to share some of the development news from Pastel!

First Look at the Game!

Firstly, we are very pleased to share the first video that we've created for Pastel - what you can see here is a quick run-through of an in-game location!

Our Heroin - Pastel!

Now that you've seen the video, let's have a look at the lead of our game - Pastel.

As you may know, Pastel is a nine-tailed fox who has just woken up in an overgrown forest with no memory of who she is or how she got there.

But, what does she look like? To answer that, let's take a look at her concept art and then the in-game model.

Concept Art

As with almost everything, we started with the concept art!

With the general design put together, we added colour, and made 2 different variants.

3D Model

After we agreed on the colour scheme we created the in-game model. Zbrush was the program that we used to do this.

Even in this phase, we had two different versions. The first (on the left) was our original design, but after a bit of testing, we changed it a little bit to get the final model that you can see on the right.

So that's it for this first write up. This certainly was fun and we are really excited to start talking about the game!

Is there anything that you want to see? Please let us know, we want to make this all a very community-driven game!

We want to show off WIP how the creation of energy speed lines on level 7 extends from one tower to the whole city making a hub out of this construction.

Making sure that the player menus look clean is very important for us.

Comparing the Inventory before and now you can see in which direction we are going with our re-design.

Even with the redesign, it's always enjoyable to hop on our old client and admire what we have previously created.
