That game is an underrated gem and it's very unique for a Zelda game. With it's dark and creepy theme of the game, the characters, the story, the music, etc. I wish the Zelda games did another creepy and dark themed game. Sure, there was Twilight Princess that was kinda dark, too, but not as much as Majora's Mask was.
I use to have an N64, but didn't play a lot of N64 games. I only had Super Mario 64 and just rented Mario Kart 64 and Wave Race 64. I wish I would have been more open to explore other game genres.
Of course, I was able to play the game on the 3DS remake and enjoyed playing it. I did went on bought the N64 from the Wii U eShop just so I can experience the original game.
