Hello,
anyone who played Twinland demo knows that there are two classes available: a magician and a gunner. In the next two updates i will try to explain the differences between them.
Choosing a class is one of the first things a player will have to do in this game:
When playing as a magician you should pay close attention to your MAGIC stat and your MANA POINTS level:
Magic gets higher as you gain experience levels. Spells become stronger when it reaches certain milestones.
Mana points regenerate on their own; the lower the MP level the faster it goes up. Be aware though, MP regeneration stops if you are hit with a curse.
You can permanently raise your max MP level by collecting special potions:
A magician can use mana pool to cast spells of three elements: fire, ice and light. Fire is the cheapest one but it has a short range and can’t be used in flooded areas. Ice can freeze and slow down enemies weak to cold. Light is expensive and not easy to use but it’s effective against undead or dark foes. It also can brighten deemly lit rooms and passages - but only if they are filled with magical darkness (to dispell normal darkness you will have to look for a different tool).
A fourth major spell heals the caster, removes harmful effects a creates an aura that protects from curses and poisons. This spell is extremely expensive though.
There are other rare and mysterious spells hidden in some remote and hard to access corners of Twinland.
