What's next for 'The Endurance'?


Hi there,

it's been a while. I think we can start talking about potential content updates and my ideas for the future.

Even though I still consider it my personal success some opinions on The Endurance are kinda split (and rightfully so). Quite a few people struggle to beat the game and that's unfortunate because...

I'm working on v.1.1.0 which (besides some bug fixes) will probably be the last update. I always wanted to add more endgame content. Something fun like Endless Custom Night and weird, altering gameplay rules Challenges. So these and a few additional things are exactly what v1.1.0 is gonna be all about. Let's just say I'm testing some wild stuff...

Considering these would be my final touches to TE I'd like to ask you what are your gripes with this game and what turned you away from finishing it. Also, I'm purely speculating here and I'm not committed to "SCP: The Endurance 2" quite yet but I have a few ideas laying around and might try something one day. So I'd be happy to know what you think and what (if anything) would you like to see in the future.

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
