What's the point of criticizing old games like Candy's today and saying “It was never a good game” or “It's overrated”?

If today everyone sees that game as “Mediocre” but they have to take into account how the year it was created and how it has aged, something that the channels that criticize those games don't take into account.

It's very easy to say that those games are trash. 90% of the fangames from 2015 are bad. It's like saying:

''Trtf 3 isn't as good as you remember it''

when it was never a good game, Here you're just stating the obvious.

It also makes no sense to compare those games with today's games

It really throws me off to see fans worried or upset that they’re bringing in new screenwriters for the FNAF 3 movie, because “the movie doesn’t feel like FNAF.”

Seriously, do you really prefer the references/Fanservices over a GOOD STORY???
