What to expect in the beta releasing today.


Hi guys!

So as most of you will know, the new beta will release today. Fantastic!

If any of you are expecting an ending in it, I’m afraid that there will be no ending. Both routes (Pacifist and Genocide) will end at the same point. This is just so I can work on the game and not worry that people will play the old ending and hate it. Believe it or not, I’ve gotten a bunch of 1s and 2s because of the old ending, which hurt, but hopefully this will new ending will allow people to change their minds!

Yes, as most of you figured out, there will be a final boss battle.
It will take a very long time to make. I’m talking WEEKS. And since I’m going on holiday in the summer (where I live, summer vacation has not started yet!), chances are I won’t work on it there, so that adds 4 weeks to the wait.
I apologize for those who are eager to get your hands on the boss battle, I just simply can not get it done that quickly if I want it to be good.

Anyway, so in the beta you can expect:

  • A little taste of the new ending…

  • New additions to the game which will help confused players (for example, more signs).

  • Another Sans phone call in Waterfall, since I forgot there should probably be one there!

  • Bug fixes!

A full change log will be released along with the beta tonight.
