I will be honest. I forgot about this project. At the time I was excited to dive back into this series, but right when the updated version of Jack-O-Fazbear's 1: Afton was done, I hit a major roadblock. The 6 AM screen. In the original version of FNAF Engine, it did 6 AM for you. However in the most recent versions, it was changed so you need to make it yourself.
I tried programming it, but it just wasn't working. My good friend Aero was testing and he told me 6 AM just didn't work. I tried fixing the issue, but it just wasn't working. I felt demotivated, and figured I would try again later.
Its been 2 months and I still do not want to pick the project back up. The problem I had with 6 AM is fixable, but theres also been one major problem thats prevented me from bothering with the project. Me.
In recent times I have grown bored of FNAF, the series I once loved so dearly. Nowadays, I hardly see it pop up in my recommended on YouTube. Truth is, I have moved on. I was 12 when I posted my first fangame, 2030. I am 17 now, and I have changed significantly since then. I'm not huge on FNAF anymore, I have moved on to games like Hearts of Iron 4 and Fallout.
Generally its hard for me to get back into something I left behind what feels like so long ago. The whole process of making a new game now also is just generally very unappealing to me these days. What used to be so simple to me is now something I dread doing.
So as for the future of Jack-O-Fazbear's: Midnight Edition, I'm not sure. It will probably sit around for some more time until I feel motivated to continue working on it. Not the best, but it'll do.
See you all then.
