Seen a few people who aren't sure why Night at Nuggit's won't save for them, so I wanted to try and help a bit hence this article.
If you are somebody whose game already saves properly, GO AWAY!!! (i'm kidding i luv you )
If the game won't save for you, make sure you're doing the following:
1 - Extract The .zip File
This one's obvious, but Night at Nuggit's comes in a .zip file. Opening the game from here won't allow saving to work.
Make sure you're extracting the .zip file first before playing. Windows itself should have an option to do it, but you can do this better with a software like Winrar.
Also, make sure you don't separate the data file from the game.
2 - Create The MMFApplications Folder
Night at Nuggit's was created with Clickteam Fusion. Clickteam games have their data stored in a folder titled MMFApplications.
If your game isn't saving, double check that this folder exists. You can do that by going to your AppData folder. An easy (and less long-winded) way to get here is by just going to the search on your taskbar and by typing "Run". Open up Run and then type "appdata", and you should be automatically brought there.
When in the AppData folder, go to Roaming and look for the MMFApplications folder.
If it is not there, don't worry, you can create a new folder and just name it "MMFApplications"! After you do this, try beating the game's tutorial again and see if it works.
(if people smarter than me know other reasons why the game won't save let me know and i'll add them to this post, but these should be the primary reasons why saving isn't working)
Hopefully this helps some folks!
(game is still coming along very nicely by the way)
