Oi mates! well, the 10 of you who actively follow me XD
Last week or so I wasn't able to work on the game for a few reasons, main one being switching to Linux
Yep, that's right - I am a Linux user now. Currently I use KDE Neon as my daily, and so far I like it a lot!
Using Windows just became too much of a labor for me, with constant bloat/spyware slowing my already weak laptop, and on top of that constant useless updates, fighting with permissions and drivers - it was just too unstable and restricted
So, I started to look on alternatives - thank's to Mutahar (SomeOrdinaryGamers) and a few of my close friends I was able to quickly decide to make my way towards penguin. Firstly I practiced on a few most popular distros like Ubuntu and Mint, but after a few days I switched to KDE. Honestly, first time in years I felt like I own my machine - no bloatware and trackers, no accounts and that corporate bullsh!t. My laptop isn't on fire when running game, discord and a browser at the same time, and everything just performs better
Of course, there are some problems with compatibility, but thanks to Wine and Proton almost all software that I used before runs on Linux. So far I am definitely happy with my experience, but I still need some time to adjust
Now, to the interesting part
In case you don't know - Godot supports Linux and so porting on it. I've already tested it - FNAF 3 Remix runs on Linux without any adjustments! What it means is there will be a Linux port as soon as I'll finish last update
In summary: switch to Linux, Godot devs are absolute chads, FNAF 3 Remix is not dead, and so am I
