"Where the heck (hell) have you been? A year passed since we last heard from you! " we hear you saying.

Well, we're here to give some answers now, as well as address claims regarding fan continuations of the old mod:

"Where Have We Been?"

Quite a bit has happened in the last year, not just with our crew, but in the world as well (but let's just focus on us right now! ):

So, Project Harmony - a team got formed for that, consisting of some of our old new members, as well as new faces.

At first, everything was going great, everyone sharing concepts and working on stuff. But as we moved closer to summer, things began to slow down. Then Mrky mentioned feeling overwhelmed by this larger team, ultimately deciding to manage the project solo, with minimal assistance, and work on it whenever he feels.

After that, both health and technical issues appear on his end and we stopped hearing much from him. Silence followed, occasionally broken by few team members chipping in the development server, still eager to share concepts and creations, and having that UT/DR itch again, waiting to be scratched. This pattern continued until around Halloween, when...

Undertale: Frosted - Another mod that was being worked on in parallel, led by Chloe and Sophie, the two most active (and quite talented) team members back on the old mod. They've been cooking something quite special. After sharing updates on Bluesky, they caught our attention, and soon a deal was struck. The still eager Harmony members moved over to Frosted, which is now our main focus.

Harmony is not cancelled per se, moreso on hold. Mrky has returned since, expressing interest in reworking the visuals.

Development is going well... that's all I'm allowed to say for now. Here’s hoping it stays on course!

Now...

"Regarding Fan Continuations"

We told you we didn't want anyone to continue Bits 'n Pieces, but you just. wouldn't. listen. It should stay dead and the community needs to learn to respect that.

We’ve taken down most of them for using our work without permission and repackaging it illegally.

One of the remaining ones, calling itself "Undertale: A New Hope" (I don't think this one's directed by neither George Lucas or George me ), tried to play it smart by making it a patch on top of BnP. Although I once mentioned in a passing comment with a random person in a DM that it was a slight improvement over the other continuations, that comment was spun to suggest I supported it, which I don’t.

Well guess what, you didn't solve anything! And now I'm getting complaints from the old team about it. And rightfully so, having our assets mangled like this, without having given them any official, direct permission (make note of the keywords).

So to those continuing BnP or attempting similar projects, not just "Undertale Episode IV" over here: Maybe you mean well (or maybe you don’t care), but please stop. It’s against the wishes of every team member involved in the original mod. Must we really come and do witch hunts on you? Make your own mods if you like, but please leave BnP out of it. Have we made ourselves clear?
