Where to go from here?


So, bare with me for a second. I recently started learning how to draw, specifically manga/anime and I want to start doing projects using stuff like that, primarily for story/character-interaction, because that’s one of my favourite parts of any medium.

I’m updating the game slowly but it’s a bit detrimental to what I have in mind since it’s 2.5D where the environment is rather cluncky and things just feel half assed and since it was a jam game the core isn’t well thought out. Albeit I can make it better and work on the aesthetic and the story with 2D art and an RPG style of dialogue but I don’t know if it’s worth it since it’ll take a lot of work/time. What do you guys think? I’m in two minds about this.

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Regular exercise is key for healthy wings.
