Whew! Lots of updates these past 2 weeks...


First up, it's HALLOWEEN on Game Jolt!

While browsing the site, you may have noticed a few monsters here and there. You're not imagining things, they're real! Capture as many monsters as you can and flex your scores in the Halloween Community

Trophies

We pushed out the first iteration of Game Jolt Trophies. For folks that are #gjfamous, your notification feed most likely filled up with acknowledgement of your awesomeness from the previous years.

For new comers, you'll start earning trophies as you play games that utilize our game API as well as being an active user on Game Jolt.

Check out all of your hard-earned awards in the new Trophies tab on your user profile.

Happy Spawn Day!

We want to celebrate your annual join date on Game Jolt. So, each year, when your Spawn Day rolls around, we'll toss some confetti on your user profile and award you a brand new trophy to celebrate all that is YOU!

Community updates

Communities are improving thanks to YOUR feedback! Some changes:

  • When your post is featured in a community, you'll now receive a notification.

  • Personalize your community with a custom message in the "Add new post" box.

  • Move posts across channels to keep things organized.

Halloween was a fun little distraction for us, but starting next week, we'll be continuing to improve our current set of features.
