Which of these game Ideas should I use for the upcoming game jam. (Feel free to give me suggestions too relating to them.)

1 - Path

2 - Random adventure game
Below there are the specific details.


Path quote from discord asking the same question: "One is a game idea I have had for a while the game is called path. In this game, you will walk on a narrow path sometimes being given choices to decide your destiny path. there will also be monsters you will fight along the way. In a fight, you have three places to move and so does the enemy, but some enemies have more attacks than you. A basic monster will have one attack, a mini-boss monster will have two attacks, and a boss monster will have three attacks. If you die in a fight you will reset to the beginning of said fight. Some enemies will move around making them harder to hit. At all times the player will have one attack move and one support move(every time you make a choice these change.). No matter what choices you make you will get to the same endpoint, but the final boss will change. In every choice scenario, you will be given three choices each counting one point to a different variable, these three variables are the ones that change how the game plays. there are no levels in this game, but there are stats that change with these variables. those stats are; max hp, defense, speed, and stamina. Your attack move has these stats; type, damage, and speed. Your support move has these; type, boost and recharge. Enemy stats pretty much match the players, but it has aggression and type. at the end of this game, it will likely talk about how all our choices matter in the end and that even the smallest thing can cause a domino effect." Besides that, I have decided the game takes place in the woods and will go for a kinda spooky feel. I have no decisions done on the story.

Random adventure game quote from discord asking the same question: "The other is a random adventure game with the goal to beat two bosses giving you two keys to open the door which ends the game. pretty much every element of the game gets randomized besides some set elements. I sadly do not know how to make random maps so the map is set. The types of stats everything has been set as well. The base sprites are also set although there is a list of them and it will pick randomly from it. Basically, all text, audio, and image choices are set, but all of them are randomized from their lists. there will be 5 save files. the settings are also set. Although the map is set where enemies spawn and what it looks like is not set. there is a weapon roulette shop which gives you a random weapon. The game has "leveling up", but it works more like a roulette rebirth type thing where all the stats are randomized. I can give more of the finer details to this game if you wish, but this is the main concept. I thought of this game last night" Let me say what the stats are for each element. Player: "Raw power, defense, magic, magic recharge, speed, stamina, health, regeneration" Weapons: "Attack, speed, weight, pureness." Monsters: "Defense, speed, magic, magic recharge, stamina, ability 1, ability 2, health." Bosses: "Defense, speed, magic, magic recharge, stamina, ability 1, ability 2, ability 3, health, regeneration." Magic: "Power, speed, gravity, fly, track, explode, cost." There are a total of 5 random color effects applied to change the colors of objects, 8 different monsters, and 2 different bosses.
