For the Metroid series, the show could be in live action or 3D animated. Probably 3D animation would fit better for the Metroid series since it won't be limited with a live action show.
It would be very cool if they could get Genndy Tartakovsky to direct the show. I watched his Star Wars Clone Wars: Micro-series and really enjoyed it. He's really good at telling stories through environmental storytelling and without any dialog. The action sequences are great. Of course, there's dialog in Metroid, but for the moments that don't need any dialog, he could do it. It would be cool if they took some elements from the manga and put it into the show.
As for the StarFox series, it will also be 3D animated. It would be a fun action and adventure show. Who would direct it? I'm not quite sure. I kinda get a little bit of a Star Wars vibe from it.
I think having TV shows for both of these Nintendo IPs would help boost interest in these series. Plus, I want a new StarFox game that isn't a remake or reimagining of StarFox 64. I want the story to move forward where they left off. I don't think StarFox Command is canon? Considering that it had multiple endings and that they characters acted out of character for some reason.
They could do a mini-prequel series before the events of StarFox. It could feature James McCloud, Peppy O'Hare, Pigma, and Andross. I would also be down to see that. Just to see what Fox's father was like, etc.
