i added the overheat thing as a request from one of the people who played the game, mainly because the game was WAY too easy without it. you could just walk straight up to the guard and kill her with no problems. now did this make the game extremely difficult? no, it just made it a little bit more harder. and uncle pervis is just a joke character from a half life 2 alternate universe that me and my friend created. i actually have a few animations (and gmod role play videos) with pervis in it on my youtube channel. theres actually an entire sad backstory to pervis.
heres his story:
"Uncle Pervis was once known as Jeremy M. Pervis, and was a very well respected person in city 17. he and his friend Dervis worked for Dr. Breen as assistants (now keep in mind, in this version of half life 2, the combine are the good guys, and gordan freeman is a psychopath who created a army that worships him as a god) one day, gordan freeman blew up the citadel in the city, and caused the entire city to be destroyed, and killed everyone. except for pervis, and his friends. who managed to survive because of the zen crystals that was in the citadel, and gained super natural powers called tradition, that gets activated upon falling over. heres some examples of their powers {pervis has the power to kill everyone, and anyone, no matter if they are invincible, or weak, by creating a super deadly radioactive shock wave. and dervis' abillity causes everyone to start dancing uncontrollably for as long as dervis wants. and skervis' abillity creates a giant skeletal monster that flies around and kills people} and now pervis, dervis, servis, spervis, and tons of other people who are now called "the uncles" must find gordan, and end him, along with his rebelion, who started to mutate into horrific monsters because of gordan freeman. and now pervis started to get addicted to beer because of his depression. and he, and every other uncle started to go insane because of the ammount of rage, sadness, and the want for revenge on gordan freeman for ruining their lives." thats basically the story of uncle pervis and his gang.
