Break Free is quite possibly the most fitting LMS theme Sonic has ever had. To quote an old magazine, "The one thing Sonic hates is oppression". Of course he hates the EXE. They're keeping them from escaping the realm. They're the oppression. "I'm everything that you want and you want to be" is, for me, the best line. He's Sonic, he boasts and taunts all the time in battles. It's just so perfect.

And to add onto this, Super Sonic Hero is great, too. He's the fabled Super Sonic, the Chaos Emerald warrior. He's beaten actual gods time and time again, and he isn't going to lose this time, no matter what. I also think that getting Johnny to sing it was the cherry on top, he did all the Super Sonic themes for the golden age Sonic games, so it's great to see him here.
