Being gay, or homosexual, is defined as being sexually or romantically attracted to the same gender. As such, if you are attracted to the personality on its own of the homie you're kissing, even if it was on something entirely seperate, then you are not attracted to them, you are attracted to how they are. As such, kissing a homie whilst neither feeling sexual or romantic desires for them is entirely, utterly straight, and along with that, doing anything considered socially 'intimate' with a homie without feeling the desire to, is also, not gay.

unless you want it to be. then it is gay.
