HII LONG TIME NO THEORY

so, let me tell you why u think Razor and Cyno are brothers (or related in some way)

well first lets point out the obvious

SIMILARITIES

they have the same eye and hair color

similar clothes (specifically the 4 belts from behind, not to mention the vision being in the same place)

they both have have golden ear piercings (which shouldn't be evidence of them being related but COME ON razor lives in the forest, doesn't shower and is raised by wolves, WHY would he have an ear piercing?? AND HE DOESN'T GET THE CONCEPT OF MONEY YOU'RE TELLING ME HE'D JUST CASUALLY HAVE GOLD?? DO U KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE THAT SHIT IS)

they have similar skin markings on their arms

similar ULTS portraying (what i believe to be) the game's version of Anubis and Wepwawet (next section) and both of them having claws

INSPIRATION

Cyno was inspired by the Egyptain god of death, Anubis

but what you may not know is that anubis has a brother!

Wepwawet who is portrayed as a man with a wolf's head, is a war diety

wolf connections?

guess who in genshin was raised by wolves, and some may even describe him as "a wolf spirit in human form."

thats right! razor!

IN LORE CONNECTION

razor's constellation being called "Lupus Minor"

while Cyno's constellation is called "Lupus Aureus"

the names sound suspiciously super close together, plus the fact that they both mean wolf... lesser wolf could be a reference to razor being the younger one? and golden wolf could be a reference to Cyno being the more powerful/intelligent one

in his story it says that the word 'lupical' has been taught to him by "someone else", the wiki passes it off as it being the dominator of wolves that taught him, but why wouldn't they just say his bame then? they said every other character's name in his story, and DOW is way more connected to Razor than any of the other characters

besides in the rest of his backstory he refers to FRIENDS as lupical, not family, that's what the wolves taught him, that's what klee taught him, thats what he learned by himself

what if, when they said someone else they really meant someone else... someone he can't remember, just like his parents?

he might not remember them but he remembers what he learned from them.. "lupical is family"

so Lisa is taking care of Razor.. why Lisa specifically? she doesn't seem like the type to find random orphans in the wild and immediately offer her assistance, not to mention the fact that Razor doesn't usually trust humans

you might be asking "mello, does Lisa have any connections to Cyno??" and to that i answer: YES

Lisa and Cyno graduated from the academy at the same time, they're friends!

he speaks highly of her, according to tighnari's voiceline

so it makes sense he'd trust her with something as important as his younger brother (if he left him on purpose) and if he didn't leave him on purpose? there's always a chance that Lisa either recognized Razor as his brother or just took him in because he reminded her of him

also i just like the idea of him accidentally leaving his brother, like imagine you go to mondstat and bring ur baby brother with you and then he gets snatched by wolves and you forget about him

speculation behind cyno leaving razor on purpose:

so. Cyno punishes researchers of the academia who commit crimes, and those researchers do ANYTHING but accepting their sentances,

these things include faking illnesses and memory loss, bribing him, begging to not go to prison or...

BINGO.

they use force. they attack him or maybe people close to him. he must be pretty hated by some of the researchers who commit crimes to get their ways, and that must put a target on him... and by extension anyone he cares about

not to mention the Emerites who hate anything academia related, seeing how high ranking he is in the academia, they must want him gone too

Cyno leaving Razor in Mond wasn't an act of abandonment, but protection, he didn't want him to get hurt for something he had nothing to do with. so he left him somewhere no one would expect to look for him in, considering how looked down upon Mondstat is in Liyue and Inazuma we can only assume it's looked down upon in Sumeru as well (i mean come on everyone is ruder in sumeru + researchers of the academia tend to look down upon everyone) no one would think that General Mahamatra Cyno would hide anything there...

because I've heard from a leaker that we might get some info about razor's family in the windblume event, who knows maybe this whole thing will be debunked ,but there are a little too many coincidences here for it to be just a coincidence
