You remember Wild Western don’t you? No? That’s okay. It’s just a little tech demo/game I uploaded here to GameJolt October of last year. I wanted to judge the interest for a Gameboy-style Retro Western game. I was very surprised by the amount of positive feedback I received. But at the end of the day it was still just a game that had “Huge potential, but seriously lacking in the gameplay department.” - (Visor) Well in this alpha for the spiritual successor, the gameplay department seriously has a lot less lacking!
The cute little game that had high hopes to one day become a full rpg is now on its way to doing just that!
New Features that weren’t in the old version-
Four playable characters each with different “attacks”
You can now enter houses
20 different townspeople you can talk to
Snakes that you can fight
7 different color schemes (that all look sweet)
Motion blur! (it’s off by default, go to the debug menu to turn it on)
A Zelda reference!
This is a very early alpha. There’s a HUGE list of planned features that aren’t implemented yet. There currently aren’t any quests or objectives; but you don’t need any of that when you can throw tomahawks at rabid snakes and talk to the wonderful townspeople.
