Hello everyone, I’m deciding whether I should start development on a second Wired. If I did, I would most likely be using Blender Game Engine again. That doesn’t mean that I won’t develope the game on a different engine, because that is a high possibility. The only real reason I would resort to the Blender Game Engine would be to preserve the feeling or setting of the last game.
Now, since I have the option to use other game engines doesn’t mean I will just ditch the whole Blender Game Engine all together. Infact I will probably resort to actaully using the Blender Game Engine for the development for the entire game, due to how simple development can be on the engine. There are many reasons I would choose Blender Game Engine, over anything else, but again, that doesn’t mean I won’t use another engine. So, if I post about what game engine I will use, don’t listen to it. I might change my mind.
The original release of Wired didn’t require much, it began to attract attention naturally, but since the new Gamejolt is now active, it isn’t so easy. I don’t want to begin a whole rambling session or anything but I kind of liked the old Gamejolt apposed to this one. It actually gave me a chance to be recognized for my work, and helped me gain more confidence knowing that people actually cared to look at my work. Since the new Gamejolt is now active and will most likely never be changed, I suppose that everything I did now is worthless.
If you want to create games don’t be discouraged, nobody is here to stop you. The only person stopping you is you. Don’t fall into the same pit I did, and begin to lack self-confidence just because something happened. Infact you should build off of that expierience, and apply it to other things in life. I’m sorry I haven’t been active lately but everything just seems to be slowly falling apart. Although I am on a slow incline, I can’t keep thinking that it’ll last forever. So whatever you do, have fun with it. Wired 2 Will be out sometime in 2016.
