My dusttale take, this Sans dedicates himself to make the game unplayable by stealing the player's kills and items, being sneaky with his attacks. He has lost hope in winning, so all he has left is to make you hate your victory.

A new brush test, this drawing was supposed to depict Sans' initial reaction to the player doing things right during a pacifist route. An alternative way of seeing it is the player resetting after sparing sans during a genocide and then doing a pacifist.
