Wonder why you were ever called Hourglass out of all things... anyway- Alien Michael over here's finished.

Article for mechanic and an update. (spoilers if you care)


Hourglass starts in Cam7, approaching, once it leaves you have a short moment to hide under the table. However, it is not stalled by anyone else attacking, so it could kill you in the middle of Oswald walking past the office, for example.

Instead, it is unable to move if Cam7 is selected, and is slowed down by any camera usage, but one or the other might just make you miss another character leaving or piss off The Face, forcing you to hide for longer, so act wisely >:]

That marks all of the characters in the thumbnail for the game finished, but that may not be all for main gameplay, since after all, how dare I call this game Five Nati Slop if it doesn't have way too many characters that aren't even in the version I'm remaking?

First I might try current max mode before trying to be cheeky though, just to see how it plays out currently before accidentally making this too obnoxious, I'll get back to you on what I'll do later.

I've made a lot of touch ups to the current suits' AIs and now the game is a lot less painfully boring, more tangible progress should be coming soon. (Added game over tips for the hell of it, say hi to The Rat.)

Since trying to schedule 7 posts at once proved wildly unhelpful, I may as well post a regular devlog like a regular developer, sigh.

Frankly, I've been sitting on my ass doing nothing for the past few days. Max mode rn feels a bit too simple. Meanwhile, I have fully implemented the ability to actually die, so here's a showcase of Disembodied's 'jumpscare' and the game over screen.

Mild rebranding update to futureproof this version of the game, and the reference works out, too :] (A remake is still nowhere near beginning development, but better early than late. [that's not how the saying goes..,])
